Stan Marple (born 1968), whose full name is Stanislaus Marple, was an ice hockey player and after twelve years in the British game he retired as coach of the Guildford Flames. Marple is a Canadian who played at the University of Alberta before joining the Victoria Cougars in the 1986-87 season. He is currently the head coach at the University of Alberta.

Note: Stan Marple could not play regularly after 2005 because of the EPL 4 import rule, therefore he could only play when other imports were injured.
Stan had his Number 3 Retired to the rafters never to be worn again in Guildford. The Flames gained 10 Titles.
